After 5 years, Zorikto Dorzhiev returns to Irkutsk!
ZORIKTO, a contemporary Russian artist hailing from Buryatia, is globally recognized for his distinctive work. His art has been featured at prestigious venues like the Venice Biennale and the Tretyakov Gallery, exhibited on international art platforms, and acquired by private and museum collections both in Russia and worldwide.
The "Awakening" exhibition at the Viktor Bronshteyn Gallery brings together works created by the artist over the past six years. The exposition includes pieces from Zorikto Dorzhiev's solo projects "Patchwork Man" and "Vajra-punk." Images of the future, personal memories, and fragments of daily life and dreams intertwine with Buddhist symbols and the raw energy of punk culture. Within Zorikto's creative universe, the spiritual heritage of the nomadic peoples of the East gains contemporary resonance and offers a modern perspective on the world.
The General Partner of the project is Ocularia Optics.
The exhibition is organized with the support of Khankhalaev Gallery (Moscow).
